History of Our Club
Allen Valley Striders was founded in 2005 and initally based at Deneholme. After about year we moved to a new base at
Allendale Village Hall. With the completion of the Allendale Sports Club pavilion in Catton, we moved to these fantastic new
premises. A great new facility from which to base ourselves.
In 2007 we staged our very own road race in
conjuction with the organisers of the Allendale Fair - Allendale Lions.
In 2009 we took responsibility for the
organisation of the Hexhamshire Hobble fell race.
Our Charter
Allen Valley Striders welcomes applications from all people over the
age of 16 including people with disabilities and those from ethnic minorities.
